Andrea + Matt | Saunders-Monticello Trail Maternity Portraits | Charlottesville, VA
In spring of 2015, we had the pleasure of shooting Andrea and Matt's hilltop Charlottesville wedding. We jumped for joy when their exciting news that they were expecting was posted and jumped even higher when they asked to set up a maternity shoot. A chance to catch up before their lives are flipped upside down in the best way possible....SIGN US UP!!
Saunders-Monticello Trail is where it all began for us and the Jacobs family when we did their engagement shoot so what a fitting way to mark another exciting stage of their lives. When we met for engagement photos around this time a few years ago, it was beyond hot. Thankfully the breeze was a bit stronger and the shade a bit more abundant. Andrea was a true trooper and Matt was right by her side the entire way complimenting her and keeping her hydrated.
As we moved from location to location, it was so fun to hear how excited they are about their baby on the way, the preparations in the nursery, and the joyous anxiousness that comes with the final few weeks of a pregnancy.
We can't wait to see photos of Baby Jacobs in the loving arms of its' parents, but in the meantime here are a few of our favorite shots from yesterday:
