Jessica | Barboursville Vineyard Bridal Portraits

We are so excited to share Jessica's bridal portraits! One of the hardest things about being a wedding photographer is keeping stunning portraits like these under wraps until after the wedding, but man are we glad to finally post these!

Jessica chose the beautiful Barboursville Vineyard as a backdrop for her session and the weather couldn't have been any better! We found Jessica in a tasting room with her mother, future mother in law, and several bridesmaids sipping chardonnay and taking in the stunning view of the vineyard. She quickly changed into her dress and we were off to the races.

Jessica and her mom have a very special relationship and it was easy to see how much they love and care for each other. She was constantly adjusting Jessica's veil, straightening the dress, and checking the train for insect "tag alongs". At one point Jessica dropped a pearl earring into a bed of white rocks where it blended in perfectly. Her mom quickly took up the hunt and was the only one in the entire group to spot it and put it back in it's rightful place. Way to go mom!

Her dress was a match made in heaven for her personal style. It was lacy and elegant with a small train and a beautiful matching veil. It was perfectly form fitting and she still managed to move around the vineyard with ease! We love that the vineyard offers backdrops ranging from a rustic red barn to historic ruins. Luckily Jessica's entourage brought their walking shoes and did so with a smile!

As the sun began to set we posed Jessica in front of our personal favorite location, the leftover structure of a house designed by Thomas Jefferson and built in 1822! Jessica's timeless dress was a fabulous addition to this historic view.
