Jenn + Galen | Newport News Engagement Portraits
There are a few stories I thought about sharing when I started writing this blog about sweet Jenn and fun Galen. I thought about sharing a story where Jenn, my sister-in-law Kristin, and another friend of ours, Jess, took a road trip for Kristin's bachelorette party where we devoured a delicious pack of powdered donuts before we were even 10 minutes into the trip. (Granted, I ate 3/4 of the bag.) I thought about sharing how Jenn and Galen were the best cheerleaders during our soccer games. After thinking through those couple of stories it came down to me wanting to share the moment when Jenn & I bonded the most...at my brother's wedding.
Jenn and I were first to go down the aisle for the wedding. We were instructed to walk at a slow and steady pace. However, us two ladies were so stoked for the party that waited for us that we high tailed it all the way to the stage creating an uptempo pace for everyone else. A few interesting looks were shot our way from the wedding planner, but we were just so excited! We continued to sniffle, cry and giggle together through the ceremony while reminding each other not to lock our legs so we didn't faint. Jenn kept me laughing the whole wedding and still continues to do so to this day.
I met Jenn through my sister-in-law who went to JMU with Jenn. Through the last several years, I've really gotten to know Jenn and I've started to get to know Galen more! Jenn is so sweet, kind and helpful. (She even drove 2 hours this past weekend to help my brother and sister-in-law move!) Galen is hilarious and has amazing taste in BBQ restaurants! He was tasked with the job of making Jenn giggle throughout the entire engagement session and he did that with flying colors! He had Brad and I laughing too!
Jenn and Galen are so incredibly sweet together. They completely adore each other and made my heart melt during our entire session.
We met Jenn and Galen in Newport News on the most perfect Saturday of 2015. It was a warm, breezy day by the James. They were super patient with my constant desire to get "just one more picture" and I'm glad they were. We came out with so many amazing pictures!
